You can also build custom libraries in draw.io. These are ideal for adding and sharing logos, employee headshots, and other branding elements with your company’s identity. To find out how to build these, see, Create your own custom library.

1. Alibaba Cloud

Here, you’ll find a wide range of Alibaba Cloud applications and services, helping you document your infrastructure on the Alibaba Cloud platform.

To find these shapes:

  1. Click on +More Shapes in the left side menu;
  2. Locate the Networking category and click on Alibaba Cloud;

Tip: To add text beneath a specific shape, left-click on the shape and begin typing. If you want to customize the text, for example, to change the vertical position of the text in relation to the shape: Click on a blank space on the canvas, head to the Text tab in the right side menu, and select Bottom from the dropdown menu.

You can also change the Font Color in this section to match the shape color. Use the color picker to the right of the colored box, then click on a shape to apply that shape’s color to the text.

Tip: If you’re regularly using the same shapes, for example, to create sub-sections of your diagram for backup or redundancy purposes, you can use the Scratchpad to store these shapes (along with groups of shapes, and even entire diagrams!) to use time and time again.

Note: the Scratchpad only stores shapes in your diagrams; these are not visible to other team members accessing the same diagram.

Locate the Scratchpad by going to the View option in the top menu, and clicking on Scratchpad.
