The one tool for every team

We’re thrilled to announce that draw.io has reached an incredible milestone: over 80,000 installs across Confluence and Jira! This achievement is a testament to the trust and enthusiasm that our users have placed in us.

Your support enables us to keep innovating and delivering the one tool for every team. We support use cases across various sectors, including ERD and UML diagrams for software engineers, BPMN diagrams for business analysts, SWOT charts and sales funnels for marketers, and org charts for HR.

Back in 2022, we celebrated 50,000 installs in Confluence and how we got there, but what milestones and features has draw.io unveiled since then?

2022

We brought in real-time, collaborative diagramming with shared mouse cursors, so teams can work on a diagram together synchronously, with edits appearing for all users as they happen. Plus, you never have to worry about losing your work thanks to Revision History and autosave.

2023

We released Smart Templates, enabling you to generate custom diagrams quickly and easily using AI.

We unveiled dark mode for those looking to reduce eye strain, save battery, or just because dark mode looks super duper cool.

2024

Our engineers pushed the technical boundaries as far as possible to offer collaborative editing to our Data Center customers (from version 13.0 onwards).

draw.io became the first major app to be released on Forge, Atlassian’s development platform that’s revolutionizing how cloud products are offered.

2025

We introduced the draw.io Zero Egress app that Runs on Atlassian. Keeping your info secure by preventing any data from leaving your Confluence instance, it essentially functions like a firewall around the whole app.

The story continues

The biggest reason draw.io is so popular with users is due to its versatility. We offer so many ways to make draw.io your own, from custom templates and shape libraries to integrating your own corporate logos and fonts. We believe in giving you the power to create diagrams exactly how you want to, for any industry or role.
